Taiko no tatsujin.
Japanese TV is incredible. People keep knocking on the door and trying to harass Dan into paying for it.

One program had this guy trying to recreate some of Obama’s ‘looks’. You can’t see it but he’s wearing an american pin-badge too. The show after it had a guy in a leotard talking about Rod Stewart and trying amazing-looking food.
We got KFC for breakfast - I got a wa-fu chicken burger meal with teriyaki sauce. It was a bit sweet.

This political group outside talking about foreigners (apparently they don’t mind them) got their mascot to pose for a photo.

We went to Koshigaya Laketown for a bit of a shop and to check out another animal shop with creatures in tiny cages.

A band was playing in the mall. Their first song was pretty intense but then they started playing ballads. Kind of lame. Good keyboard though.

After another Mister Donut we hit the arcades, again.

I did pretty well for myself on this whack-a-mole machine and won two packets of chewing gum. Check out the food people. My favourite is the slice of bread with a face, Choco-pan Man.

Back in Omiya, we went for indian food which was great. Pretty much exactly the same as it is in the UK.

Karaoke is super different in Japan - you have to book out a room and sing with your friends instead of doing it in front of a crowd in a pub or something.

For 1000 yen each, you get an hour’s singing and free drink the entire time. Drinks are about 500 yen so this is a sweet deal.

I’d gone a bit over budget by this point so me and Dan went home and finished watching Eastbound & Down.
